Today we celebrate Naha Takashima (graduated from Kyoto Uni) and Sara Ito (Osaka Uni final year). Both studied abroad, UK & US respectively), and were somewhat surprised at how openly people spoke about sex, unlike in Japan.
Naha Takashima and some colleagues have created a group called Genesis. They have held workshops, created videos and published material related to the prevention of sexual violence and sex education. Working with Wings Kyoto they published a handbook (20,000 copies).
本日Celebrateするのは京都大学卒業生の高島菜芭さんと大阪大学4年生の伊藤紗来さんです。2人はそれぞれイギリス、アメリカで留学した際に、性に対する話がオープンで主体性を持ってセックスをする女性の姿が日本の女性と異なっていることに驚きました。
高島さんがFBで日本で性暴力や性教育の啓発をしたいと呼びかけ集まった5人の大学生とともに、京都市男女共同参画推進協会Wings Kyotoに企画書を持ち込み、協会と「性的合意ハンドブック」を作り2万部発行した。団体Genesisを立ち上げ、ワークショップの開催や啓発動画の作成も行っている。
